Volunteer with TBB-NC

Volunteers are essential to the success of TBB-NC. As trained counselors, volunteers are on the front line in connecting North Carolina families to work and education supports. It is our volunteers’ care and concern for families in their community that makes serving clients using The Benefit Bank more than an exercise in completing forms, but also a wholesome, empowering experience.

Volunteers can help TBB-NC with the administrative responsibilities of operating a site, like creating appointments or organizing and advertising events to offer the services of The Benefit Bank beyond the organization’s normal client base.

Volunteers also act as important carriers of information, telling others about TBB-NC. Many volunteers are part of other organizations through their work, faith community, or leisure activities. Taking the time to share about TBB with neighbors, colleagues, and friends or including information in an affiliated organization’s newsletter helps raise awareness about the services provided by TBB-NC.

Share your time and talents by volunteering with The Benefit Bank of North Carolina and connecting us to others, strengthen your community, and improve the lives of North Carolina’s families.
